定制linux内核遇到的问题

定制linux内核遇到的问题--Linux通用技术-Linux技术与应用信息,下面是详情阅读。
最近不久想实现一下,不过遇到了很多麻烦,虽然定制的内核能有,但还是有些问题,想在这请教请教:
下载的内核为:2.6.33.2

第一个问题:在我原来的系统下用lspci命令查看硬件时,出现 bash: lspci: command not found

第二个问题:我用dmesg 命令出现以下内容:

在配置内核时那些是有用的阿,内容太多了,英文不太好,希望能指点下。在查了很多网络资料,都说要知道硬件的芯片信息,但是这里好像看不出什么啊。

第三个问题:我从新编译的内核vmline有2.1m,我查看了一下以前版本的vmline也是2.1m,一点都没减小啊,还有initrd.img这个文件,好像还曾大了。是不是以下原因:
我在配置内核是,很多都是默认的,比如usb,network的设置,因为我根本不知道怎么去设置,那些是需要的,那些是不需要的。

嘿,说来惭愧,虽然编译的内核能用,但总感觉是一次失败的尝试,希望能得到有心人的帮助!
